Who we are

When the world reopened post-COVID-19, my son came home from school with a suicide hotline sticker on the back of his school ID. At first, I was enraged, “How could the school even think that this is necessary”? Then I became sad, “Why has the school determined this is necessary?” The fact is that the world is a confusing, unpredictable place, and many people feel that they are in this life alone. From adolescents to adults, the introverts to the people surrounded by others at all times, we all need that place to talk, to feel heard, validated, and not judged.

I’m Lynda. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, under the supervision of Julia Wesley, LMFT-s. After spending 25 years working in the oil and gas industry, then the IT industry, then at home being a full-time caregiver, I decided that I had more to offer. I went to grad school while my children were in college and graduated with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I am decidedly passionate about creating relationships that are not only beneficial to each participant but also enjoyable. It is possible to have a marriage that is fun, romantic, dependable, exciting… You pick the word.
